The Beauty of Bihar - Tourism Management System is a web based application designed to simplify the management and booking of tour packages in Bihar, India. It aims to promote tourism in Bihar by providing a user-friendly interface and efficient functionality.
Tourism has become an economic booster for many countries in recent decades. Holidays are now seen as a necessity rather than a luxury. Coordination and cooperation between travel agents, tour operators, and tourists are essential for successful tourism. Major elements of tourism include destinations, attractions, sites, accommodations, and ancillary services. The need for a robust and dynamic tour management application has been present since the inception of tourism. To address this need, we have developed an application to provide the best travel services to customers and travel agents.
The Tourism Management System is a web-based application that provides a search platform where tourists can find tour places according to their preferences. This system also promotes responsible and interesting tourism, allowing people to enjoy their holidays at their preferred destinations and develop tourism with different cultures to enrich the tourism experience and build pride. The objective of this project is to develop a system that automates the processes and activities of a travel agency. Planning and executing a journey can be tedious for customers, and this project aims to replace the current system by keeping records of customer details, destination, and payment received.
The proposed system is highly automated, making traveling activities much easier and flexible. Users can access the right information at the right time, increasing customer trust in the tourism company. This project is designed with SQL Server as the back end, ensuring that all data will be stored on the server and that a backup will be available in case of data loss. Details related to every aspect of the tourist will be available separately, and admins can easily access them with a single click.
